Gave the GTO some much needed TLC

1 year since last buff job, 8 months since last application of zaino, and 3 weeks since last wash (which included a dry with 100 grit sandpaper body shop dont ask) here she is...

Almost ashamed to show these but here goes.

After wash, clay, wash, and halfassed dry. These are just to show the real condition of the paint. As you can see there is a lot to be desired. Whole car covered in these...

After a few passes with sonus paintworks cleanser...swirls gone

After making the rest of the car look like the pics above, I wiped down the car with alcahol. Then some Z6 and Z8. I then began the Z5 pro application. 3 coats total with Z6 in between. After the last coat I followed up with Z8. Unfortunately at this time the sun was gone so I had to make due with some flash shots to show the true condition of the paint at this time.

Ate lunch

Took a few brakes

Finished up around 5:30

Nice work, sweet ride. I cant say enough about how much I dig those GTOs. Have fun with it, she looks great.

Yeah once I came inside and looked at the pics I realized that they looked like poo. At that point I was not gonna mess with them.
