Garry Dean - Tampa, FL - 06 Mini Cooper S 2 step and full detail

Garry Dean

Garry Dean Quality!
This Mini Cooper is a cute little bugger. I detailed the owners 2006 Jeep Cherokee SRT8 almost a year ago and I was impressed at how well kept it has been. See that video below.

This Mini has had extensive suspension and engine work done. He says its quick!

I performed a 2 step polishing process on this vehicle focusing on swirl removal and gloss enhancement.

I was able to give the Speedy Prep Towel another go as well. I really like how well this towel removes contaminants and the speed in which it does it. It does mar the paint quite a bit, but that is no problem if you plan to polish afterwards. I personally would not recommend this particular tool if I intended on just applying a wax or sealant after use. I have used pretty much every clay lube I can find including my Infinite Use Detail Juice as well as Glide and I cannot tell any difference. I would say this is a fantastic tool to have around if you are polishing. I am excited to get my hands on the more gentile version Nanoskin is working on.

You will also see a fantastic example of my new Solitare AIO at work in this video.

Enjoy!

Hey thanks guys!

I forgot to mention that Donald (dfazekas) stopped by during this detail to chat a bit and to pick up some product samples, including Solitare.

Thanks for stopping by Donald, you seem like a really good guy. I hope you have enjoyed your mini vacation here in FL. You are welcome by my shop anytime.

It was great meeting you too Garry! Your client seemed like a really cool guy well. If things don't work out in Montgomery I'm moving down here and teaming up with you. This place is great!

Nice job, really love that blue color on the Mini.
