G35 paint correction

Make it shine!

New member
This car came to me last month once the weather started to turn to freezing conditions. The owner keeps the car clean by runnig it through the tunnel was, it keeps the car clean but it turns the car into one big swirl mark. He wanted the car to look good as he had a G35 meet and drive through the city the next day. So here is a little write up about what I did, I generally don't take the time out to take pictures during the process as I get in the zone and don't like to stop but I am trying to display my work alittle more. Enjoy!!

After an ONR wash and clay with Clay Magic I inspected the car, heres what I found.

I taped off a section of the hood to see what I was going to use, M205 and Tangerine Hydro Tech pad was the choice combination as it cut the soft clear pretty well and finished off nicely. They are not perfectly finished shots but you can see the difference with 1 quick pass.

By the time I was done it was dark out and the owner had to leave right away so we met up Monday afternoon and I took a few shots of the whole car and some sun shots. Keep in mind this 2 days later and it did rain on Sunday, his G35 meet was cancelled.

Very Nice Work! What type of machine or machines did you use? How do you like the work time of the 85rd?

Thanks al lot!! I used a pc 7424x, with the kb method I am rarely going to my rotary. I like the work time of the 85rd al lot and especially like that it doesn't dust like M205.

Wow - great result. It is hard to get a white car looking but you have accomplished that.

Thank you for the kind words.
