Fuzion over BlackICE/ soft paint pads?

I know I saw a previous thread on this question but for life of me I can't find it. Question is is there any benefit putting a Fuzion coat over BlackICE? I just have this Fuzion 3oz for about a year and never used it because durability reviews compared to BlackICE.

Also, I have soft paint and wondered what the best pad (color) to use? I used a light blue hydro-tech pad with Flex 3401 but I noticed some scratches I put in.

Thanks.....

If you are using a blue Hydrotech pad it would have to be the cyan pad which is the most aggressive of the Hydrotechs. The tangerine pad would be the next least aggressive followed by the crimson pad which is the least aggressive. I would try stepping down to the tangerine or crimson pads. If you do use the cyan pad it may require a second step with a less aggressive pad and polish combo to finish properly on soft paint.

Ok, thanks. I'm still a newbie at this. I will try both tangerine and crimson pads. I do use the crimson pads for final wax application.

BlackICE is a final wax so you should be using the softest pad, not even the polishing pad. Or better yet, do it by hand. BlackICE is pretty durable so you shouldn't need to top it with anything unless you have the time and just want to play with the look and see what you get.
