Fuzion or SSII on my blue paint or souveran.

I was wondering what would work better on my 68 chevelle with light blue paint, its got pearl and metalic in it. I'm looking at the fuzion, SSII, or regular souveran.

What condition is the paint in? Since its light blue, I'd lean towards SSII but there are other better choices if you are shopping for a new wax.

68bowtie- Welcome to Autopia! Cool car you have there :xyxthumbs

IMO the dirty little secret is that most any decent LSP (Last Step Product, i.e., wax) will look fine. The *VERY* minor differences, which most people can't really see anyhow, are strictly personal preference.

E.g., Souveran is normally considered a great wax for dark colors and reds. But I've used it with complete satisfaction on white, silver (my wife's fave on that color), blue like yours, you name it.

IMO you can pretty much flip a coin and see what appeals to *you*. Unlikely that you'll make a really bad choice.

Its got a brand new paint job on it. I just wet sanded and buffed it this past weekend.

Great, I'm assuming you are garage parking it so durablity isn't an issue. Do you care about ease of use or just want maximum gloss or depth?, or are you looking for a "period" correct look? Let us know what is most important to you in a wax, many of us are borderline mentally ill  and have probably used 50+ diffferent waxes.

Just ordered souveran, wolfgang 3.0 sealant and po85rd. I have the new meguiars microfiber cutting compound and needed a new polish so i bought the po85rd. I also read the good stuff about the 3.0. I'm going to use the 3.0 on my everyday drivers followed by autoglym HD wax, and the chevelle is getting the souveran.

Good choice on the 85rd, that stuff is amazing. 3.0 is nice and I'm sure you'll enjoy the souveran. Be sure to post up some pics after you are done!
