Funny smell? Pinnacle Micro Rejuv. Detergent

Hey, I used my Pinnacle Micro Rejuv. Detergent on my towels. I noticed it seems to smell a little like windex in the bottle. Is my batch bad? My wife did a load of clothes after and she says they smell different. She's after me telling me I'm poisoning her clothes with my crazy car stuff. LOL! What is this supposed to smell like? Does anybody know what in it? Does anybody know what in it?

Could her bleach have mixed wrong with some remnants of it?

I'll have to take a whiff and see...OK, yeah, I can see why somebody would say "Windex". MF-detergents don't smell all that nice.



I do some garage MFs in our household washer (and sometimes use the Micro-Restore for household MFs too) but it never makes the subsequent loads of laundry smell funny. Maybe because I do multiple rinses, the last often including distilled white vinegar.



Sounds like your washer allows some residual water to remain in the tub, which contaminates subsequent loads. I'd do more rinses and/or consider getting it looked at. After I do a vinegar rinse, subsequent loads don't smell like vinegar, and that stuff smells a lot stronger than the MF-detergents.
