Full detail this weekend

This weekend I'm looking to give my car a full detail. Here is what I have in mind:

wash
clay bar
polish
wash
wax

Another thing I need is a swirl remover. Can someone suggest a product. Also, I'm sure there are pieces missing in the above process. Please fill me in.

By the way, I'm new to the forums. Hello everybody Thanks for the help.

edit: There's one thing I forgot to add. As far as the polish, I have a bottle of 3m rubbing compound that I used about a month ago. Due to the abrassiveness of it, is it safe to use it again or should I find a less abrasive polish (like a "cleaner")?

Persoanally I would use something less abrasive.
