FTG effects on FMJ?

I used Menzerna FTG under FMJ for the first time a couple of weeks ago. According to CMA's webpage the FTG shouldn't affect the durability of the FMJ. I'm starting to think this isn't the case though. The surface is noticeably less slick after just two washes and no rain. I've also hit it with HGAS once so I think it should still be pretty slick. In the past i've always gone straight from FPII to FMJ with no glaze and the surface seems to remain slick for a while. The car still beads water like crazy so I know the FMJ is still there but I'm concerned that it may not have bonded well with the glaze under it.



Has anyone else noticed the this effect after using FTG?

I did my car a year ago with IP, FPII, FTG and FMJ X 3 and it received HGAS 1-2 times total over the course of 8-10 months and my durability was great. Protected through a Buffalo winter. I find the slickness drops off with pretty much anything after washing it. What wash are you using? After washing try buffing a panel with a mf and see if the slickness comes back. The wash can leave a film over the FMJ. This is been noted with Red Dot testing as well. I found HGAS restores the slickness but it does not last very long either. The Beading on both products is great no matter what.
