FS: Canon Digital Rebel w/goodies (300D)

SOLD A LONG TIME AGO ;)

leaving the thread open for whatever reason...

This would be an excellent kit for those of you looking to make your detailling photos even better! I'd recommend adding the Canon 50/1.8 lens for about $75 new from online vendors - just a great all-around lens. I've had two.

on to the listing...

I'm helping a friend sell her camera. Sadly, she's fallen out of the photography groove and as a poor college student needs the cash more than the camera.

- Canon EOS Digital Rebel (300D) - 6.3MP CMOS Sensor

- 18-55mm kit lens

- Tiffen 58mm Haze-1 filter (always on lens, off only for photos here)

- Lexar 40X 512M CF card

- Lexar USB CF card reader

- Original battery, cables, charger, strap, etc. (no software)

- Lowepro TLZ Mini bag

The camera has an estimated <4000 actuations (My own Canon 10D has well over 30k without a problem!) and has almost no signs of wear, excepting a very slight scratch on the top of the flash (doesn't even show in photos) and some normal hotshoe wear.

$600 for the full kit, reasonable offers entertained... not interested in parting it out.

Payment via PayPal ideally, but flexible w/time for payment to clear.

Shipping via your option - USPS, FedEx, UPS.

Located in Maryland.

Questions welcome :)

Bump for a great deal. We just upgraded our 300D but it served us well for over two years. Almost 20,000 shots taken - it's a really good entry level dSLR.

Great deal, I just bought my Canon SD630 for like 400 bucks, yours is a much better deal, but I was already stretching my budget with 400....good luck with the sale, shouldnt take you long with that price!

This is a "No Joke" setup.

I am happy with my A610 right now, but know a Canon DSLR is in my future. Good Luck!

I've got an A610 myself, which I rather like. This Rebel is definitely a good camera.

My main setup is, I would say, a "No Joke" setup :woot2:

(taken with the A610, even!) :)

I'm going to test my "spoiledness" and see what my wife says about me getting a Rebel for Fathers Day. Costco has the kit for $699 after a $100 rebate. Wish me luck....

How is the lens that comes with them? What do you recommend in addition. It would be mostly still stuff and I don't need a super zoom at this point.

The lens that comes with the camera is okay. nothing fancy by any means. I'd recommend the Canon 50/1.8 in addition, because it's so small, lightweight and very sharp. Additionally, it allow lower light shooting (the 1.8 aspect), which is very nice. AND... it's only $75.

Lots of folks love the 17-40/4 lens and my personal favorite walking around lens is the 28-135IS. Each of these isn't on the cheap end, though. :)
