Fresh paint runs

A customer of mine recently had her rear bumper painted. Unfortunately, there was a paint sag in the bumper that ran about 6". I just wanted to show a proper removal of a paint run or sag. I start by using a fresh razor blade, angled 90 degrees against the paint, and scrape off a majority of the sag. I then dry sanded the paint with 1500 grit with a D.A. sander to get it mostly flat. Polished out with Powergloss with purple wool, followed by orange CCS and SIP then finished with white CCS and Super Finish. It's not 100% corrected, but I also am unsure of how much clearcoat is available to sand away. It now does not attract the eye and is 90% fixed.

Heh heh, good thing it was just in the clear, huh?
Yeah, it was a sloppy repaint, pretty easy to see it was just clear, but no way to take a measurement.

Nice.

More pix of the r8 in the background tho!
I would love to do a write-up on the R8, but we have already completely wrapped the entire car, every single panel with Venture Shield. No paint correction needed on that.
