2011 Audi A4. Owner bought this for his son when he got his license. Now, 2 1/2 years later, he has taken it back from his son. Combination of poor grades his first semester in college and the atrocious condition his car was in. His kid was ferrying around all his frat buddies all semester and they flat trashed the car. Sent him back to school without a car. Lease is up in May, so he wanted it detailed and it will remain parked until it goes back.

Pretty dirty inside and out:

This is a first...

The owner didn't want to spend too much, just enough to get it cleaned and some shine back. The tips were as clean as they would get (within the budget we were given), don't think they've ever been cleaned. Maybe steel wool would have helped but like I said, he had a price he didn't want to go over.

ONR wash

Optimum Power Clean at 3:1 and ONR to clean wheels and wheel wells

Opti-Raser white (aggressive) to clay

Optimum G-P-S using an Optimum orange foam cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

Optimum Power Clean at 3:1 to clean all interior surfaces

Meguiars Gold Class for leather to dress leather

Meguiars Interior QD on the vinyl

Not perfect, but a huge improvement. Not sure what is on the rear mat, wouldn't budge. Maybe some crazy glue or something. Owner was amazed we got it as clean as we did.

2005 Subaru WRX STi, 2012 Volkswagen GTI and 2014 Audi RS5. All the same owner and yes, he likes blue cars! Last time I was out, he had the WRX and a blue Infiniti G37. All were in really good shape, WRX wheels were remarkably clean already, that style wheel tends to be pretty trashed on the ones I've done. And the interior was by far the nicest and cleanest of any WRX I've ever done. The GTI is their daily driver, the RS5 is his wife's car and she works from home and the WRX is the weekend toy. Other than some swirls on the hatch on the GTI, the paint on all three was really good. We discussed coating the RS5 maybe towards the end of spring but for now, he wanted them all protected for the rest of winter.

I was recently sent some Rupes MF pads and polishes to try out. Used the yellow microfiber pad (fine cut) and KeramiK Gloss (which is made specifically for German clears and ceramic clears) and it worked quite fast. The Rupes MF pads have a much firmer backing than the Meguiars or Optimum pads.

Full process:

ONR wash

Opti-Clay yellow to spot clay-all there were remarkably contaminant free for the most part

Rupes Keramik Gloss and yellow microfiber polishing pad and Rupes 21 DA on the GTI (and to remove some light scratches on the RS5)

Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum orange foam cutting pad and Rupes on the WRX and RS5

Optimum Opti-Seal to protect

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

Vacuum, wipe down and Meguiars Interior QD was all any of the interiors needed

Forgot my digital camera so these were taken with my cell phone

NIce work guys! Batch of blue! One extreme (WRX) to the other (Audi) as far as paint goes. Amazing what kids can do when there handed a gift! Nice save there!

Great work Scott. I cant even imagine the ass beating my dad would of gave me over that. If I wanted to drive his 79 vette the summer after my senior year. It had to be washed.

Thanks, y'all! :)

None of my brothers nor I ever did that to our cars but my sister on the other hand....her husband is trying to get her to care more but results are so-so.
