FPII + orange pad?

I have hard clearcoat on my black jetta, but tried out some Menzerna FPII on an orange pad and have what I think are great results. I went really slow and used a little bit of pressure. The polish didn't dust like IP and seemed to finish nicely. It removed 95% of my cobwebbing and the hood looks great - minus some weird pitting all over it, but that was there before polishing. Is this ok to finish on, or if I get some white pads can I get an even clearer finish, despite the hard paint?

Also I will try to get some pictures of the pitting, it is all over the hood and you can't tell until you are standing there looking. From 5 feet the hood is crystal clear. But especially in the sun you can see some weird dotting in the paint and it is only on my hood. All other paint on the car finishes clean.

I detailed a Mercedes with the ceramic clear coat and here is what I used and found out:

  1. 106FF with orange pad (Edge 2K pads) and Metabo rotary removed all swirls/scratches but left some marring
  2. FPII with green Edge pads and Cyclo removed all marring and left the paint flawless

I found this process to help...I've tried Menzerna products with Lake Country pads and my Metabo rotary and that is the best combo. To be honest it's hard for me to explain why the Edge 2K pads didn't do as good of a job as the Lake Country but if you ever get a chance to test it give it a try for your self.

Hope this helps oh yea the ceramic clear coat is really hard
