Stevet,
Is there a way to get just FP and not MicroPolish?

Contact Menzerna direct @ 845-325-5850. Keep in mind
that they only do $50.00 orders at the minimum. And
as mentioned, MicroPolish is actually FPII. FP is the
actual Final Polish.
Just for future reference, here's a list of products
with cut and gloss levels. Cut and gloss are graded on a
scale of 1 (lowest level), to 5 (the highest level).
PowerGloss
Cut- 5.0 (the most aggressive of the Menzerna line; cuts
1000 sanding marks and has the lowest gloss @ 1.5)
Works on aged and oxidized paint.
Intensive Polish
Cut- 3.5 (cuts 2000 grit sanding marks and has a gloss
level of 3.0). Works on aged and oxidized paint.
MicroPolish (aka FPII)
Cut- 2.0 (cuts 2500 sanding marks and has gloss level
of 4). According to my information, this is actually more
geared to fresh paint, either by OEM or bodyshop repair.
I am unsure if there was any change to the product other
than the name.
FinalPolish
Cut- 1.5 (has the lowest cut of all polish/ compounds;
designed specifically for haze, swirl and hologram reduction
or elimination and has a gloss level of 4). Works on aged
and oxidized paint.
There are 2 other products in the line that have been
mentioned here before: PO106 and PO 85RD.
PO106 cut @ 2.5 and knocks down 2500 sanding marks,
while 85RD cuts @ 1.5 and knocks down 3000 sanding
marks. These are specifically designed for scratch resistant
paints. They offer the highest gloss of known and discussed
Menzerna line (gloss level 5), but there are diseigned for
a specific purpose which most of us would not really have a
need for. I would sugggest sticking with the above
mentioned compound/ polish products above. PO 106 and
85RD are more expensive, and truth be told, I don't really
think you will find a significant difference in the paint's appearance.
