Found the Cordless Master Blaster (almost)

I have a MB and a Sidekick - but I love cordless tools.

80 volt 500mph CORDLESS Kobalt blower. $250. Bought it to blow grass clippings - the most powerful cordless blower I could find.

This thing is nothing like the old 18v cordless blowers and can hang with most gas blowers - with NO ENGINE, NO WIRES, NO GAS!

Maybe not as powerful as the MB, but definitely kills the Sidekick.

3 speeds:

Weighs like 8lbs with battery.

Battery is quite large charges in a half hr and runs up to an hour:

Always have it handy to blow dust & bugs off my car and outta my garage.

Thanks for the information. Manufacturers have been getting closer to the ideal blower for detailers. The battery powered blowers are much more friendly, in my opinion. Being able to grab and blow beats plugging in or having to gas one up. I might buy this one.

I`ve never heard of 500mph leaf blowers. 80v that is insane. This thing definitely needs a video review of some drying their car or bike. At 500 mph it might tip over a moped:). I would hook two of these up to a kids bike and get a jet bike!

I found it for $199 at a few places. By the way it`s not 500 mph it`s 150 mph which is still fast. I think it said 500 CFM, whatever that means.

199 at Lowe`s. You American folks are so lucky. Here in Canada, that very 80v Kobalt is $349.

Mind you, that 349 is probably reflective of the American price plus the Canadian exchange plus import tax plus Canadian Beaver Tax, the ever present Moose tax, the Loon Tax, the Hockey Puck Tax, the Maple Syrup Tax and only the Lord knows how many other unique Canadian taxes are added.

For $200, I`d get one of those in a heartbeat.

If any of you guys are a fan of Makita Tools anf already have bunch of batteries.......under 100 would get you a 179mph blower.

A complete set with battery is about 250 but Makita is one of the best power tool brand comparable to dewalt. And you can buy other tools and have multiple batteries.

I personally have 3 sets of there drill combos and many other tools.

Just throwing out another option. And is light weight!!

All they need to do is make a 120 - 12v battery pack conversion. I`d buy 10 of em instantly for all my favorite tools.

Sorry folks, 500 cfm - not 500 mph. My bad. I`m too lazy to google it, but my guess is "cfm" might be cubic feet (per) minute - a measurement of air volume moved?

Still love the tool though.
