Not sure how it compares to something like the Tornador -- but this gun is pretty handy and effective with minimal investment:
Amazon.com: Air Engine Cleaning Gun: Home Improvement
I bought one at Home Depot in their air tools department (Husky SKU# 399-897). I can't find that one online, but the Amazon link is similar if not identical. I suspect most Home Depots stock it even though it doesn't seem to be listed online. I stumbled upon it looking for a simple air gun -- it took me a minute to figure out what it was. This thing is life changing for something like cleaning fender wells. I hit the fender wells first with blasting Catstrol APC/degreaser followed by sudsy water with Dawn mixture and it worked unbelievably well. It's also great for engines or anything else that can stand high pressure (would not use it on anything delicate).
