I have just read through 3000+ posts associated with it and on other forums. The level of fanaticism is amazing! I noticed it was quite strong at Autopia when I first joined, but has been nowhere near as prevelant for quite some time now. I think this is due to the fact that you are exposed to a wide range of great products and choice, with *slightly* less biased opinions!
