I found a cheap place to get DG products...any order under 20.00 is 3.95 shipped...

But the product prices are cheap also....

AW is 5.50

501 Marine is 6.99

Marine detailer is 5.99

Ultimate Spray Detailer is 4.89

Rain Repell is 4.99

not bad prices....and if you keep it under 20.00 its 3.95 shipping....not bad to try a few products....

lol..forgot to show the place - Fred's Off Road - Performance Parts & Truck Accessories

He is not far from the DG factory...but never know....stuff like AW and detail sprays and canned goods I would not worry about as much as sealants....I am going to order 2 bottles of the Marine polish...will see if they are any good or stale....

yes...do not go over 20.00...or just do a order a day apart....any ways if they are old..DG will replace them....I got some bad 111 and they sent me a good bottle...they think the stuff I got was frozen once....got it from either carquest or Napa....

Nice find Al. I will definitely bookmark it. The prices are much cheaper than the Parts Plus down the beach. I paid $12.99 for the 501 and $7.99 for the 521.

It's the only place around me that sells the complete Duragloss line and there is a def markup.

$3.95 shipping is not bad at all :)

Nice find...

Lenior is about 130 miles from Burlington so about 170 miles from me. He also seems to carry a lot of Mothers products too.

Not knocking Duragloss because it's pretty good but based on those retail prices it makes me wonder how much it actually costs to manufacture the products.

I don't think it costs *that* much to manufacture ANY detail product.

I agree with Scott 100%....The markup is better than Jewelery I bet....Look at glass cleaners..is it worth 3.50 a bottle for water and Alc...is a foam pad worth 10.95...

so if you find a product that will last 4-5 months for 6.95..is the 20.00 product better that lasts the same time....cause it cost more....

AL-53,

Not trying to hijack your thread, but just wanted to let you know that based on your posts (and others) I tried AW. Very impressed with the look of it over KAIO and 2xKSG. Much better than KSG alone on my dark gray metallic paint. Thanks for letting others know. :2thumbs:

Also have the DG leather conditioner but have not tried it yet.

you will like the leather conditioner....also try the leather Vinyl dressing..use it on your trim and interior plastics..its very good....really lasts on exterior trim ..not real glossy but more of the new look....smells like men's colgne at first..but goes away fast....I use it on all my plastics....

also if you find the Marine Detailer 521..grab it...its a very good QD with good cleaning for lite dust..birb bombs...water spots...but its very glossy...slick ..loaded with UV protection and anti static ....good for after a wash..use the AW monthly and 521 after a wash....also it is like AW..it takes a day to be its best....much better than Fast Clean and Shine...

Actually stopped in a West Marine yesterday to see if they carried the Marine Detailer - but no joy. The Carquest's and Nappa's in Maryland don't stock DG, never heard of it, and can't get it. Go figure.

May have to try Fred's for some after I finish my bottle of UQD, which I'm not that overly impressed with.

One question for you if you don't mind? Does 105 have the same look as AW, but just longer durability?

Thanks,

Dave :)

very close..the AW adds just a bit more depth I think...105 has a resin in it to mimick a waxed look....Synthetic Polymer/Wax Formula...the AW just adds more to it...

my new combo is the 501 Marine polish to clean the paint...and then 105 over it....super wet looking....the 501 has very good durability as told by DG...but a super cleaner also...

Just a question, I went through the process to place an order, and I noticed there was no security symbol where they want a credit card number. this always concerns me. Should it?

What do you mean security symbol? When you place an online transaction, you don't just look for the verisign logo. You check to see whether the page is https secure, check bbb.org for past customer ratings, and make sure the link looks right.

ok..little update....I was going to call in a order to see if gallons were available...but some one else ordered and the shipping came to 9.95 for a under 20.00 order...so the shipping listed may be a typo....but when I do order on the phone i will mention the shipping at 3.95....

just wanted to update ....just found out a few minutes ago....
