I'm not really sure if this is the correct forum to post this message. Please move to teh appropriate forum if this is the incorrect forum to be posing this question.



Over the past few days I've noticed members "calling out" and making derogatory comments about old Autopian members that formed a new forum either in posts or in the chatroom.

I'm truly at a loss and don't understand why. What's the big deal? Those guys can't come over to Autopia (apparently all of them have been banned) to defend themselves and IMO, makes Autopia and the membership look bad. I haven't read anything posted over there that would be considered a shot at any of the members here. In fact, they seem to be welcoming those Autopians that have decided to join with open arms.



Either you're goping to join or you're not but there is really no need to make Autopia look bad.



Most Autopians don't have problems posting in any of the other forums (I'v seen multiple post here in Autopia that I've also seen in MOL or Detail City). So you really can't say that it's "Forum Loyality". If you were loyal to one forum, you wouldn't post in others, correct?



Everyone deserves a spot on the WWW.



Please be civil in your response. I'm just trying to figure this whole "West Coast/East Coast Detailing Forum War" thing out.

I no what ya mean. It's the same thing with my 4 wheeler on line buds.



Some of them were uncool and used the wrong words and got kicked off the forum we used to all hang out on so they started there own.



Then the guys at the first place kept badmouthing them and they couldn't defend themselves.



It got real ugly until the guys that were still on the first forum decided to be real men and apolagize for being jerks.



Then everyone was cool and went their seperate ways. They don't talk anymore but at least their not acting like jerks. Too bad they won;t all sit down and drink a beer or 6. I bet they wouldn't be jerks then.

You have made 6 posts sinced you joined and are stirring up unecessary drama. The post you are referring to has been locked and this thread is heading that way too.



Why not just use Autopia to learn and contribute about detailing and leave to drama behind?



I think Scottwax needs to bring back his old avatar!

The intent of my questions and your translation aren't the same. If your child was to ask you a difficult question, would you also chastise him or her? Of course not.

My assessment is, if you let it drop it will. All this thread does is rub off the scab and prevent healing. Only time will let the whole thing heal.

NoDoze...I don't understand your purpose behind this thread. Seeing that you have a total of 6 posts leads me to believe that you are a former member that may have been possibly banned.



If your intention is to start a flame war regarding former members who were banned and statements that we made on this forum and another current detailing forum regarding those issues then this thread will be closed quick.



We all post on other forums its nothing new. I think DC and the other detailing forums are a wealth of knowledge. In my book there is no such thing as "forum loyality". Its all about finding the best information possible.
