Forum Drama

OK now that I have caught your attention. The 3D da launch threads and following post have shown me that there is a lot of passion on here be it though sometimes misdirected. This latest epiosode has even made its way over to other forums. As I have posted elsewhere we are all at one time or another gulity of typing (myself included) something that we believe in deeply that could have been expressed differently. I know I go off easily at times before all the facts are known or I misinturpt what was said but can't delete what I've posted in haste. We are all adults here and by nature aren't going to agree with everthing posted or everyone that post it. We do need to still call a spade a spade but maybe we could be a little more civil in the way it gets handled.Just a thought.

One side note I would like to throw out there is a "BIG THANK YOU" to the pros that share a ton of knowledge on here for sponges like me to soak up and expand my limited knowledge base.

When you get a large group of people together that don't know each other and who all have different experiences and backgrounds, there will be differences. How you handle those differences is what really matters. Every forum has it's own drama, I don't care which one you go to and what the forum is about, that's just how the internet is. The problem with the written word is that everyone will get their own meaning out of it, again, that's how the internet is. If you just can't handle that, or are too sensitive, then maybe forums aren't for you, or perhaps the internet. You HAVE to have a thick skin on forums, sad but true. If you take everything personally, you will only let it creep into your real life, and that's just sad.

Everyone has their own opinion and I think we all have the right to express our opinions, thoughts, and problems, both good and bad, and experiences. Forums are DISCUSSION boards, afterall. A good debate never hurt anyone. When it gets to the point of not trying to figure something out but just attacking back and forth, that's when the discussion needs to end, but why let it even get there? Take responsibility for your own actions, IMO.

I've learned a lot here and thanks to those that have helped me along the way and through the years.
