Formula one engine break-in procedure

Old video, before the V-8 days. You know it's hot when you can almost see the air moving threw the headers! They will turn translucent when up to operating temps!!

Holy cow! Did you see all those people standing around those cars without ear protection? I've spend enough time around chassis dynos to know how loud these things can get.
