my 04 crown vic sport has these 17inch alloy wheels and im not sure what to use to clean it. all it said on the website is that they are alloy wheels. i have some eagle one nevr-dull wadding pollish laying around here and i also have some eagle one aluminum wash and cleaner which is ph neutral. would these be safe on my car or should i go out and buy something special for it ?

hmmm. dont know that much since but i wouldnt put an aluminum cleaner on alloy... might be ok, i just dont know... id stay with eagleone a2z as a cleaner and probably shine it up with some wheelsealant...

but if i were u id wait for someone that has aluminum/alloy/coated/ ect wheels for i mainly deal with my own and i have them clearcoated...

thanks for the advice yea i dont think i want to ruin these wheels because even though they are stock i think they just look so right. i never thought id find a crown vic to look beautiful they always seemed so big and ugly to me but this one is different.

Are they clearcoated aluminum? In any case, it's always better to go the safe route and use a mild soap to clean wheels, if they aren't caked on filthy.

For the Ford wheels on recent model year Explorers and for an '04 Ranger with stock alloy wheels, I use Eagle One Aluminum Wash and Cleaner. Spray on, gently agitate with a soft bristled wheel brush if needed, rinse, and wipe dry/touch up with a terry or MF cloth. It works great for me.
