Ford GT-TT (Twin Turbo) with 1000+ rwhp !!!

Looks like he has a race on his hands here at the end.

I cant make out what he said though, something about loseing HP.

I saw that last night. Very nice car and work. I was very impressed with the overall effort. The one thing I cannot figure out is how it is even usable unless you are driving on drag radials all day :( which even then the car is not set up for that kind of power delivery(meaning drag suspenson and such) Seem like a nice toy though. My Dad has a 2006 C6 with 490 HP and it's a monster I can only imagine what the GT TT is like. He used to have a Callaway TT Vette in the late 80's and that was a monster as well.

Thats NUTS!! no other words.... and to think up to now I thought I had driven 'fast' cars...... wow....

I wonder how much the kit costs...

Joe, the owner, has a software company IIRC. Sav, the proprietor of IMV Films, is a friend of mine from my DSM days. Joe even lets the local DSM guys drive the car. His previous cars were a TT Q45 and a TT Diablo. He's a bit of a HP freak.

Crazy, still prefer Heffner's setup, but that is still sick. Quite a few FGT guys around here, but the other day had a Gulf Port colored one next to me, not sure what work he had done but he most likely had the header swap and straight pipes because that fawker was louder then another one I heard with headers and Borla exhaust. He took off and it screamed, my windows in my suv weren't even down and it sounded as if my ears were next to the pipes :2thumbs:

I think my favorite part was when he was racing the liter bikes on the freeway. They rolled into at what? 75? 80 maybe? The GT was just like "LAAAAAAAAATER!"

Just like that guy in video. "I gotta have one!"

Wow. They didn't say, but I'm guessing it's a stock motor, no displacement or compression change? That's quite impressive on Ford's part, it seems that car can really handle some power.

I would be very interested to know what that TT kit cost. If I were to guess, I'd guess $30-50k.

It's unfortunate that that guy chooses to use such a car primarily on the street. At one point in the video he even said he'd rather be racing on the street than on the dragstrip or a road course. I just hope when he checks out, he doesn't take some minivan or something with him...

mhm, part 2 will be nuts!

i think that he should have just bought the busa off that guy at the end...he should have no problem affording it!
