Ford F-7000 dump truck

I applied AIO on my car last week and was wondering if I will run into any problems in applying SG this week. Since it's only been a week, will just washing be okay before applying a couple coats of SG?

TIA,

Kerr

I auctually think, IMHO, that you get better results when you wait a week between coats of KSG. But that's a whole other can of worms...yes, you will be safe applying KSG a week later.

Nope, no time constraits on waiting too long (unless you lose it completely :)) but you should be fine. When you get to be able to do it again, I personally would AIO again wait a couple hours and then SG, but thats me. The reapp of AIO will further prep and smooth and cleanse your paint for a perfect surface for the SG to adhere to (even on the same day) hth-Steve

You have nothing to worry about. As always, just make sure to wash your car very well before you apply your Klasse SG coats.

Great, sounds like I should be okay then. I may be a little anal about this since my car is garaged both at home and work. This is the first new car I've ever owned, so I'm sure a lot of you folks understand. Thanks for all the posts guys and I'll post some pics when I'm done Klassing.

I absolutely love the 2002 Maximas. Great power for a V-6. Post the pics. I'm kind of more interested in seeing the car then the pics of Klasse though. Laters.

Don2000g,

I finally got the time to AIO/SG (1 coat) last weekend. Actually, there is a pic of the car posted in another of my threads. Search for my name and go to the thread titled "Tinted Windows - I need your opinions". I may post a couple more pics here with different angles. Thanks a lot for your help.

Very nice car! I just had some 20% tint installed on my car and I must say that my windows are indeed a bit darker than yours.

Thank you. I questioned the darkness of my tint (supposed to be 35%), so I took it back in and, sure enough, the tint on my car is 35%. It's growing on me.

Nick,

You are taking your game to a new level. First the boat and now a dump truck?:w00t:

That has got to be the hottest dump truck that I have ever seen. I can't believe how you go the flakes to pop on that. How long did it take you to do this one? Must have been a BIG PITA.

You keep getting better and better.:notworthy:

Thanks Barry,

It took about eleven hours. The hardest part was washing, claying, and waxing the roof.

I also did two other mini Ford F-350 dump trucks but I just posted this one since this was the biggest.

Wow Nick, great work there! I haven't done one since I was in the Military over 20yrs and bet it was a pain to clean up and transfer it back!:wizard:
