Ford F-150

2012 Ford F-150. Owner was referred to me by his brother, whose cars I've been taking care of for about 15 years now. I detailed his Harley last month, he said the truck would be next. True to his word, he called to set up the truck for a detail. He is a contractor and this is his work truck. Other than the outside being dirty from the thunderstorms followed (yes, followed) by a dust storm this past Wednesday, it was the cleanest work truck inside and out I believe I have ever detailed. Paint was in really good shape too, other than some wear on the front plastic floor mats, it was in excellent condition.

ONR wash, Optimum nano-skin to clay

Optimum G-P-S using an Optimum microfiber polishing pad and my PC 7424 XP

G-P-S buffed off with Optimum Car Wax (really quick way to add more protection and depth)

Armor All on the tires/fenderwells

3D Trim Protectant on exterior trim

Woolite/water at 20:1 dilution to clean the leather and vinyl

3D Carpet Shampoo at 16:1 dilution to clean the carpets

Optimum Protectant Plus on the vinyl and weather stripping

Duragloss Leather Conditioner #221 on the leather

I get tired just thinking about detailing that beast. Perfect as usual.

Thanks! Truck was in such good overall shape, plus with what a time saver ONR is along with the G-P-S/OCW route, only took me 4.5 hours.

720ffsuit... I have a similar F-150, mine is an 2009 XLT white and silver. They aren't that hard to detail, lots of flat surfaces, the worst part is the roof!

Scott... excellent work as usual. Love the color!

At my age I'll stick with my little beast. I detail my wife's ginormous Lexus SUV 2x per year and dread having to do it in between, lol.
