for the boat speed freaks

I can't understand why they need to go that fast... wouldn't the sound of the props whirring that fast scare all the fish away?

Consider the fact that speed of sound under water is 5 times faster than in the air!

My brother always tells me of these long runs to their spots. sometimes they are 50 or 60 miles away from the launch ramp. when they get close to their spot they would come of plane and go in with the quiet trolling motor. word to the wise when going that fast... keep your mouth closed :LOLOL

I like, I like!

I've sold powerboats for a couple of decades and I love to see a Bass Boat properly set up like those shown.

You and me both. they looks great ripping up the water with a big roostertail. they also sound pretty cool when they are coming towards you from a distance. now if I could only get my SUV to sound like that ha ha ha ha ha

Reminds me of a guy I talked to last summer. He had a cigar boat that you could hear coming from a mile away. He said it had twin 5.7L engines, which EACH threw out over 500HP.

Yea those thing are amazing to watch and listen to. just happy I do not have to pay to gas them up.

how long does a tank of gas last when doing 90 in a bass boat? With all the resistance of the water against the boat, it needs alot of gas to maintain 90...
