Yeah, sometimes it just blows my mind how some people can't spell the simplest, 1st grade level words..(says something about our society, IMO).

I thought sex wax was for surf boards and yeah the guy swearing TW is the best was one of the reasons I had to post this for everyone to see.:LOLOL
 
Besides the wax, I just couldn't help but notice that that George Knighton person has 158,000+ postings there, which equates to about 1800 per month! Yowza, someone needs to step away from the computer!
 
I can totally relate though... until someone pointed me to autopia and I actually opened my eyes to the fact that Advance Auto and AutoZone do NOT carry anything that is even close to professional quality detailing products... i thought that top of the line was what was the most expensive at those stores... meguiar's and mother's... poor ignorant people :(

Meg's and Mothers OTC was how I started. It seems like its just a bunch of kids on there so they probably don't have much experience with anything else therefore don't know any better yet. But hey if they're happy with the stuff they use then whatever.

It's funny because Honda-Tech is the largest online car forum, and these people don't know what they're talking about. They need some Autopia :D

they do carry some ok stuff...



megs 16, 80, etc, mothers ultimate carnauaba, nxt, color-x, claymagic...decent stuff if you run out and need something quick or just need some good stuff that easier on the wallet for a friends car or someone who doesnt want to pay for the time and products that will make their car look better then new
 
Unfortunately, you ain't seen nothing yet. You should see posts on some other forums. On one of them guy tries to support his argument by saying he is speaking from experience as a professional detailer that has detailed several hundred vehicles and then not even a week later tells is kissing other member's ... by saying how everything he knows about detailing he learnt from that (first) guy's "this is how I detail" writeup. If that is not enough that first guy is soooo off in his recommandations that I would be wasting way too much time dissecting flaws behind it.
 
Lol.. I just have to consider the source when trying to understand their way of thinking....They are just uninformed, thats all.



Maybe if they had a "pole" on which bazooka can looks best hanging off the end of the exhaust....they might know what they were talking about !!
