Follow-up On the Camper Shell Project

Just One More Coat
I'm finished for the most part, however I still want to polish the roof line a tad more..I used my rotary with a wool pad and Presta products, they are designed for high speed buffing..that said it wasn't quite enough to cut the gel coat to my liking.

I took all the windows out, cleaned and put new putty tape in, all new screws, painted all the other removable parts & new window struts to hold the window open. . New screen are being made. Here are pics from where I picked it up to the finish in my garage..This camper shell has been sitting on cylinder blocks for 20 years outside. There is black tape along the bottom of the shell that I am going to replace with pin striping once I find something I like.

As you can see it was in pretty rough shape to start but I could see there was a great shell for my truck there...I'm going to put in back on the truck today..pics to follow
