Will Folex actually clean the carpet, or just take out stains?

I will answer this way and let you judge: I just got a new bottle of folex and a new lil green machine w/heat. So to test both out, I took one front floor mat out of my 1999 car. I cleaned it with my vac to get all of the loose stuff out then sprayed the entire mat down with folex, while it was working, I filled up my lil green machine with hot water only and proceeded to clean the mat. I worked on the mat for about 5 minutes and when I was done this previously ready for the trash can mat which I am going to bet has never been extracted, looked pretty much like new and the waste water look quite frankly like crap. Here is one before and after pic. So, you be the judge, was it the folex or the hot water extraction? I don't know but very pleased with the outcome, FWIW.



(Note: for some reason the autoflash made the first pics color off, not sure why but trust me it was very dirty, in the second pic where the red font is located that are was still wet thus the darker color. )

i always use filex it is great stuff and does not make the car smell like chemicals

what the difference between cleaning the whole carpet

of cleaning part of the carpet(stain)?



it's $5 and easy to get and works well so just give it a try

I haven't tried it on carpet. For that I use ZEP High Traffic Cleaner. Good stuff.

I spray down the whole carpet scrub and then extract. Works well and it's cheap..
