Having some fun with my foam gun, but does anyone have a picture of the quick disconnect I will need so I can easily switch from the hose, to the gun?

Is this what your looking for?

I got mine from Lowes. Made by Gilmore. Makes everything so much easier.

I love quick connects. They're worth the $5. They got plastic ones too that are cheaper, but I sprung for the brass quick connects since they seem "heftier".

Remember to put some kind of shutoff in the mix (mine's between the hose and the female disconnect). Then you can unsrew the awkward (well, at least IMO) pistol-grip and control the foamgun with the shutoff instead. I just *hate* the ergonomics of using a foamgun with the pisto-grip!

My Gilmour shut off (the high flow one), ~ 7 bucks from lowes, leaks... on my third one. My quick disconnects leak (brass ones from lowes). New or old, I get leaks, pretty darn annoying when you've got water spraying you in the face while trying to point the foam at the point of contact with the mitt.

I put up with it for the pure convenience of a quick connect and shut-off system, I try to ignore the fact that I'm drenched when I finish.

Yeah, my gilmour shutoffs leak too, sometimes not right away, but eventually they all do.

Some of the ones that swivel have busted apart, launching the foamgun/nozzle! Never had it launched into the car yet...I keep replacing them sooner rather than later.

Yeah I got rid of my pistol grip as well. Now I have a little shut off on it that I can just move with my thumb and turn the water on and off.
