Foamer - I believe...

JJ from Scotland with the test of all those different soaps got me turned on to the idea .. then Steven/Pogo123 from NC had one in the Trading Post and the Planets aligned. About five minutes after I opened the box, this is what I got...

I only had one auto soap that I bought at a cheepo parts store for a few bucks, but I was impressed. This Gilmour has more adjustments than a Short Wave radio. I just left it on #2 where Pogo had it. (2oz per Gal) and didn't adjust the water flow...but Hell, it's pretty trick. Probably the only downside today was we had a S. wind about 18kts ..which was drying it pretty fast. If I had spent more time working than looking...

Just reporting in. Now, need to find some product that looks like I'm putting out airport fires.. Cheers.

Wetstuff, glad you're enjoying the foam gun. You'll find that different soaps and different dillutions make a big difference in the foam you get. Make sure the quick connect is tight before you start spraying over your car or the gun will come flying off (trust me on that one, I learned the hard way)!

I use DP Extreme. You will get tons of suds with it.

18hr update: I won't bore you further, but I tried a mix of Dishwashing soap - Palmolive in this case - with some very alkaline Iosso Mould & Stain remover ..that I've used for years on this truck .. even tho' some of you think it a crime, crazy, or both.

Holy s__it - it works!

I had tons more suds, they didn't dry as fast ..and I actually feel this is perhaps the best way to wash a truck that I've ever done ..perhaps sufffocating all invertebrates in my local wathershed at the same time.

The only negative I can see is the QD could/should be at the bottom of the squeeze handle because you need a serious rinse to get rid of all the leftover bubbles and with the foamer removed the squeeze handle is like the end of an open hose. (a Y w/two short hoses will do also...)

Some other people have done the searching, Danase, like Ness said, not only has them..but perhaps the best price.
