Sorry if I missed a discussion on this, but is one better then the other? I would guess they both perform the same so IMO the brass one would be better /stronger right?

Thanks for your input

I have no idea. I have a Foam Gun I bought from AG and it has brass fittings. I'm very happy with it.

Same here although I've only been using mine for a month now. Build quality seems good to me. The main body is made from brass. Overall seems rugged enough to last for a long time. Shoots a good stream of foam too. :bigups

I have one that I got from AG I used it once and it has sit on the shelf ever since.
I did not think it would be any better than how I was doing but so much talk about them I Decided to try one.
I have not used it since the first time and I doubt that I ever will. :wall

Any reason why? I really like mine and use it mostly as a pre-wash ... I still use two buckets and 2-3 mitts, but I like the way the dirt gets lubricated before i start the actual washing :hmmm:

Well like you say you still use the two bucket system so this is just taking more time and soap to do the same job and at the end I have the same results.
If someone wants to try this I will sell mine for half what I paid for it and it has been used once.

true i do use more soap but I think i get better results not the same and it takes no more time as I would rinse down the vehicle prior to washing in either case, but this way I am using lubricating foam ... i also take it that your vehicles don't get really filthy:hmmm: mine are usually so dirty that it would take two normal washings to get them completely clean :(

I guess you are right about getting the job done without the help of your Foamaster, but I'm with Steve on this,I mean I feel if I use it to pre soak the car it will help with removing the dirt when I actually wash.
This reminds me of all the threads and discussions we have had about the Grit guard, some think it helps keeping the dirt down in the bottom or to wash the mitts but I most certainly I'm doing just fine without one so far.

Well like I said mine is for sale half what I paid that would be 30 bucks.
I bought mine from AG $59.99 plus shipping

I tried the pre-soak method of foaming but on my truck too much of the foam would be gone before I cleaned the all the truck. I'm using the foamaster to get a buncho suds on just the area I'm cleaning like the roof or hood. I wash that down then rinse my sheepmitt. I still use a 2 bucket method but my soapy water bucket doesn't get used as much. But I like how concentrated the suds are where I am washing. I could probably just use a rinse bucket alone with my method but filling up a soapy water bucket doesn't take that much suds and I end up using it to clean my tires/wheels/wheelwells anyways. I love the foamgun :bigups

Foamaster
FoamasterII

I want one because my truck gets filthy, and I can't justify a pressure washer just to wash it. Its so bad that someone tried to give me the "wash" the other day and the couldn't even get through all the dirt/mud. I've really had to scrub to get my truck clean in the past and I hope presoaking it will help a lot.

The link to the Foammaster looks exactly like the one I got from AG. I guess AG has their name printed on the bottle.

Living here in Massachusetts, with what seems to be a never ending pollen season, my car is covered with the green stuff every day. I have found that using the foam gun, sheet rinse, leaf blower dry, gets my car sparkling clean again; no touch, no mitt, ten minutes, shiny car. It works great for the pollen and dust when you want to get the car clean fast. I use the blower cuz w/o using a mitt, if there is any pollen (I don't see any), I don't want to take a chance on scratching with a MF. Very happy I made the investment. Wasn't sure about it till I got hit with all the pollen.
