The
95QGF4 is set for 4 ounces per gallon. The
95QGFMR has a dial to change the ratio of the mix from 1,2,4,6,or 12 ounces per gallon:

You want the one where you can change the ratios (
95QGFMR) so you won't have to be as precise with your mix of soap/water.
Edit: OK here is some foam gun 101. There are two styles of the Gilmour foam gun; the
Foamaster and the
Foamaster II. Both versions do the same thing, they create foam. The Foamaster has been around longer so you see more of us using them, but the Foamaster II is a newer style. Some like that style better because there is a knob you turn to select the ratio instead of a brass cylinder with holes that you move into position.
Some have had problems with the brass on the original Foamaster corroding and needing to be cleaned; that might not be an issue with design of the Foamaster II.
Both versions also come with either a 1/2 gallon or quart size jar, with the quart being more popular. The important thing with either style you buy is to make sure it has an adjustable ratio. Both versions have a model that is not adjustable, it is set on 4 oz per gallon. If you look at the Gilmour links for both the Foamaster and the Foamaster II you'll see what models offer what. It can be confusing on Amazon because sometimes the descriptions aren't quite clear and the same picture is used for the adjustable and the fixed ratio models.
You'll also see that Gilmour makes the same foam guns for other vendors that have their label on them. My gun is actually a Simple Green foam gun but it is identical to the Foamaster, except in color, and even has a Gilmour parts list that came with it. Also, as BigAl mentions, some other vendors sell Gilmour guns with their own name on them such as Autogeek,
Pinnacle,
Wolfgang, etc.. The best price I have seen is what Amazon is selling them for.
