There is no cure!
wondering how u guys used your foam gun.

ive heard some users have eliminated one bucket and only kept the rinse bucket. iver heard some use it as a prewash.

my way of using it would be to keep suing both buckets but if the foam gun dillutes good enough then by all means i would eliminate it.

what do u guys do?

Bucket or no bucket, keep the soapy mix from the foam gun flowing over the finish and agitate a section of a panel gently, one at a time. Don't try to "cheat" by trying to cover more surface area of the panel. Take your time, and FWIW, I switch to new mitts pretty often.

If you have a very mildly dirty car, say if the car wash parked and a brief shower occurred, you can use the foam gun to touchlessly wash the car. Again, working in sections, just flow the soapy mix over a panel. Rinse. Then blot dry with a WW. In this situation, the washing can go by fairly quickly and all you'll only have some WWs to wash instead of a mitt(s) as well.

I use only 1 bucket now unless the car is dirtier than normal.

Also, I spray the foam in the wheel wells to help clean them up a bit.

I'm going to see if I can find more plastic containers for my foam gun...this way I can use them for different uses...such as garden, car, house applications. Is going to make it easier for me at least

Do that as long as you as you are using the same type of soap mix. I was told it's not a good idea to use the foam gun with multiple types of products. ( say APC vs. degreaser, vs. car wash) If you do any way, I would very thoroughly clean the mechanism before switching back to the other product.

The mechanical part of this gun is all brass.. from what Steve has said all you have to do is run clean water threw it to clean out...having more than one reserve tank just makes it easier to switch from one solution to another, that was my thought on it after using it for a few applications

That might be true but at the time I had heard it's best not mix different kinds of chemicals and there seemed to be a good reason why. That's why I never looked into getting multiple cups. I'd just keep the same cup unless you know of a compatible cap for them.

i still use the 2 bucket method, i foam the whole car, let dwell for 2-3 minutes the wash like usual.
