Foam Gun Group Buy

Steve (Poorboy's World) is setting up a group buy for those who are interested in a true foam gun that sprays a thick foamy stream of carwash solution.

I suggest you contact him over on DC or at the Poorboy's website if you want to get in on this. The foam guns come in either 1 or 2 quart sizes and he need's a minimum of 6 people to get a price of $50-$53. He is offering to send these out at cost and the price includes US shipping.

Here is the link to Steve's full post over on DC regarding the group buy.

Edit: Steve can be contacted by e-mail at poorboysworld@att.net

I asked him to post a picture of his foam gun for comparison, but he hasn't been able to get that up on DC yet.

Just to update this thread--Steve now has pics of the Gilmour foam gun over at DC. It is made with brass fittings.

Again, in order to get a group buy together he needs (6+) so the price will then be $50 plus shipping. If he doesn't get at least 6 orders, then add about $10 to each gun.

Bill,

Now that you can see a picture of the gun, is it the same kind that you have? I was under the impression that your's has a longer "wand"?? :nixweiss

And you just put a measured amount of shampoo in the jar & hook up the hose, turn the water on, & it will start shooting foam on the car? :hairpull

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I'm :nervous2: about spending that kind of money right now.

This wand does look slightly shorter But everything else the same as mine.

Yes, unless the switch is flipped to rinse postion where just water will come out.

I believe once you use one of these you won't go back to traditional washing methods.
