Foam gun... GOT FOAM???

Ok here is the deal..



In the botle..

PB APC

Some blue soap i found at the FD

a little water to mix it around



I started at the lowest setting I got some foam nice something that i would be happy to pre wash/pannel soak with..



You can see where I jumped up the setting to the max. TONS O FOAM... Too much I was waiting for that foam to drain down for 5 min.... I kept playing with the mixer to show different foam setting but i don't have a ton of cars to wash and i wasn't going to stop and rince and start again..



on to the show



Again lowest setting then bumped p to the top setting





this one is a con't of the lest you can tell a little playing was done..







and this was my first video with SSS on I DON"T KNOW setting...with a little water mixed in



 
Cool video! Thats a heckuva coctail you made there. Thats an sweet amount of foam coming out of that gun! I can't wait for the weather to break so I can use mine! :D
 
Ok question on filling up the canister. Are you supposed to have pure soap or do you need to have water mixed in with it??



Also, has anyone used Megs Gold Class in their foam gun. Still too cold here to detail outside so

I only got to use mine once =(



It sure did not spit out that far .

I've been putting in a *glug* of CG Maxi Suds and a capful of FK425

and filling the rest with water.

I washed my car and the wife's at the max setting (lots of foam)

and still had product in the canister when done.



I love the thing!
 
you can really do anything you want ..



if you use pure soap the you the smaler setting it will mix less with your water.



if you mix your soap with water then use the higher setting and you will mix for of the solution in the with the water acciving the same diultion.
 
Any adverse effects from the concoction?



I killed my two week old UPP (for the second time) with Zymol and the foam gun.



While I would wash one section, I'd make sure to keep the rest of the car in suds, and I guess it stripped off the UPP?! I applied 845 afterwards so I'm guessing that'll hold up better. Almost as slick too...

as you can see the cars was clean from yesterday..and i still feel the slick nees in the paint.. but i put on a spray layer every other wash so i'm sure it's on there pretty thick.
 
I mix up a gallon of shampoo solution (~5-6 oz shampoo to a gallon) and fill the foamgun from that.



Victory- IMO the only foamgun to get is the one made by Gilmour. I'd order from Danase.

agreed ^ . to anyone that doesn't know, you can also get the simple green and butchers foam guns which are made by gilmour as well. here's the one i got! :)
