Florida Autopians?

If you are interested in pursuing this, I can work on something in the coastal Central FL/ St Augustine area.

I have a public location off VERY scenic highway A1A in mind where a small meet could take place..............

There never was a meet :( And given the rotten time of year, it might be tough having one, even if we had enough participants, any time soon.

Orlando Here.... Would be a great time to do a sample exhange.... We all note one item we will bring in sample sizes and share...

What sucks is the drive would dirty most of our cars... LOL

Idea: Meet at a person's place and detail each persons car with a different product... We all have PC's imagine going to town on a car with 5 or 6 of us. BLAGH GHGHGHGHGH

Well, I know Daytona Beach or that general location sure could be an ideal area, generally it is an automotive capital of the East Coast.

Two weeks ago I did run the idea of seeking permission to run a detailing meeting at Mercedes Benz of Daytona Beach. The salesman told me I'd have to discuss it with the general manager.

Not sure how that would pan out but I think there may be several potential spots in that area. For instance, there are at least two paint and body supply stores in the Ormond-Daytona area. ( too bad that classic car museum closed :( ) and there's also a small park right off A1A in Ormond Beach that has two antique race cars on permanent display. It looks like you could walk right up to them. I assume they must be filled with concrete :nixweiss or have undergone the equivalent of taxidermy ;)

Regardless of specifically where and if schedules coincide I just hope the season allow :nervous:

Well, I live in Fleming Island so Daytona is a couple lof hours from me, so that would work. Set up a date and I'll be there.

Isn't Autogeek located in the Palm Beach area? If so get them to sponsor a meet if they have a store front. We could each pay 10 bucks for a chance to recieve a free gift and we might be able to have access to power and items to try out...

I can talk to Max if you'd like. There is no storefront at Autogeek though. If you guys got a meeting spot, I'm sure they'd supply us with some products. :up
