Thats suprising. Zoran bought one in less than 5 minutes. I went thru the same thing you did. I emailed Flex no response, called Flex North America and they gave me a distributor to call, called the distributor and they gave me another distributor to call, that distributor had no idea what I was talking about and told me it must be a new tool. Flex announced this tool on their site in January. Called me back with a price of 480.00. Zoran says it's not Flex's fault. There are plenty of tool options out there, I would not give my business to a company that makes buying something as difficult as Flex does. I bought a UDM and moved on.

I have provided contact info for place I purchased it from at lowest price around, person's name, person's phone number, person's e-mail. I do not know how much easier it can get when it is already served on a silver platter and still people don't place that call but choose to wander around and then it is manufacturer that is making things difficult. Go figure.

In the meantime I have Flex.

I agree with you 100% once again . You are right and I was wrong.

No, you are just once again sarcastic as you keep on bashing on manufacturer for nothing that is under their control. I am glad you at least managed to find a way how to order UDM. At the same time my elbow and wrists are extremely happy I have demoted my UDM to spot correction and carpet cleaning duties.

Not being sarcastic. I agree with you.

By the way, is there some sort of Homer Simpson epidemic going on that I am not aware of? You know, one that makes people unable to engage their brains and muscles and pick up phone and place one call to number that has been already provided? I've fallen and I can't get up and that is where we are stuck. Or we have UDM fan boy h8r on the loose that is looking for ways to put anything else down?

All this back and forth does is keep flex @ the top
of the Machine Polishing forum and there are plenty of other machines and acc. to talk about.

I agree with you.

Yes i did and i have not heard from them since i contacted them.I will try 1 more time but this is getting to the extreme of horrible customer service.

Have you tried calling them..I just seen you emailed them ....I called and could of had one shipped that day....I also called Flextool and spoke to the woman there about the machine and she took one apart for me to tell me the pad was gear driven....

I am just waiting for Zoran to really work the tool and then make my decision ....

Al, I worked it for about half an hour to an hour over the weekend but not on the car. I will not post my opinion publicly until I had a chance to spend some time working on a car but if you are interested in discussing my "preliminary findings" in the meantime I will PM you my cell phone #. TTYL.
