Flex 3401 w/Edge 2k pads??

Hi Folks,

I've been out of the loop for a little bit, but decided to come back along after hearing of this Flex RO. I still have my PC and my Makita, but since this is my 3rd PC since 01' , I'd like to try something a little different. :woot2:

My issue is that before Aaron at Edge sold to 3M, I bought 10 pads, 5 of which aren't even open. Can I put the same adaptor on the Flex and still get stellar results? Has anyone else tried this with success?

Thanks,

Nick

I haven't seen an Edge 2000 adapter for a Flex in stock anywhere for a long time.

Edit: I just searched every place I could think of, and could not find an Edge 2k adapter for Flex DA.

Damn, $45 for it? I paid like only $15 for the PC Edge Adaptor. I guess it makes sense seeing the Flex is 3x the price of the PC.

It includes the entire backing plate assembly. The adapter for the PC doesn't need the plate.

It is expensive, yes...but shipping is only like 2.50...i got mine a couple of weeks ago...trying it out this weekend...but seems like good quality

I really like the Edge 2k system, and have a lot of new pads (10) to use. Definitely let me know how you like it. If you start a new thread, kindly let me know, as I'm not on here often.

Let us know how it goes? There were quite a few instances of broken plates when they first released the Flex adapters.:nervous2:
