Haven't used my polisher in a while. Pulled it out today to polish some Billet wheels. Running on low, speed 1. Let off the trigger and it kept running. Set it down and it was still running. Unplugged it, plugged it back in, and now nothing.

Pretty pissed because I really haven't used it much. Bought it a while ago though.

Any ideas on what to check?

Sounds like the switch (trigger). Does the trigger feel any different (i.e. weaker spring pressure)?

Sounds like a contact in the switch issue. Hard for me to envision what else might keep it running prior to it be unplugged.

Well, if the trigger was locked with the button to keep it running, it would indeed stay running until you pressed the trigger again to unlock it, right ?

True but the OP said he released the trigger and it continued to run. I didn't understand that to mean he had the trigger lock on. Of course I could be mistaken.

You live in Georgetown TX and Chaparral is in Georgetown TX
Yea, you just posted an address. That clears it up.

Right, Was polishing, released the trigger and it kept going until I unplugged it.

How long have you had it? and also try to contact Flex for warranty work.

Man, I would have to say a couple years. I will get a hold of them to see what they say/point me in the right direction.

I was lazy all weekend and didn't pull it apart.
