Whether it be black or otherwise,
EG: E30 3er with John Deere Blitz Black

I'm curious to hear any experiences from users who have worked on cars with flat or satin black paint jobs, either with just flat paint or more sophisticated paint jobs with a base/clear but with an added flattening agent.
How did you go about removing contaminants? Wax? Experience with clay? I can't really ask any specific questions, because I'm sure things will come up as people share stories.
There seems to be very little information written up online.
I guess the most important question of this thread should be,
