I researched about what can and cannot be used on fresh paint but since this is a polymer i had to ask.The label says its body shop safe but i went on FK's website and there was nothing there about my question.

I just got my frt bumoer repainted and dont want to leave it bare.

FK425 will work fine. Wait 2-3 months before sealing and waxing. Is this on your G35? If so, I had my G rear bumper repainted and since it was heat baked the body shop told me that I could seal and wax right away. I did this with no ill effects on the paint, this was 1.5 yrs. ago.

superchargedg- Note that "bodyshop safe" isn't always the same thing as "fresh-paint safe". Dunno if that applies in this context though

IF you think FK425 is OK, then maybe you oughta look into their 2180, which is also OK *according the FinishKare*.

Being utterly paranoid about this stuff, I don't use either on *my* fresh paint, but that's just me.

Im still on the fence about doing anything for a month.

I don't blame you. I'd just pick up a "pure polish" from Meguiar's (i.e., #3/#5/#7/#81 or Deep Crystal Step #2 Polish) and use that after every wash.

Great idea and thanks cause i didnt even think about that.:spot

superchargedg- Glad to help. I like the #5 so much I use it for about three months after any paintwork. Kinda hard to find though, I'd go through Meg's online or check the local autobody/paint supply places.
