FK1000P ok over Einszett WaxPolish Soft?

Not having a PTG, I’m limited to light polishing, and then attempting to fill, whatever’s remaining, with 1Z Einszett WPS.

Now can I then top with Finish Kare 1000P, without it disturbing the WPS underneath?

I dunno but I wish I did :D

If you try it, PLEASE post back with your results. I'm using WPS topped with Collinite on the GMC and I'd sure like to use WPS/FK1000P instead. Sorry, I'm chicken to risk messing up that truck :o

IMO the issue isn't the FK1000P messing up the WPS, but rather that the WPS wouldn't bond to the stuff that WPS leaves behind. There have been uncertainties raised regarding using 1Z GW over stuff like WPS (and consumer-line MetallicPolishWax) for this reason and I just dunno if the WPS/FK1000P combo would work :nixweiss

An alternative that I've used on wheels (and it seemed to work on them) was FK1000P over Autoglym SRP. The SRP doesn't conceal quite as well as WPS but it's still that kind of product and it's another penultimate product choice I've been happy with on vehicles I can no longer (abrasively) polish.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure I understand this bit:

Yeah I may well end up giving it a try, see what happens, if no one here knows for sure.

From what I understand, there's polymer based filler/glazes, like PB Blackhole, and that would work fine with FK1000P. And SRP is resin based? So the question is, what is WPS? Polymer, or oil based, or..?
