FK 425 ??

<span style="color:#008000;">I have used used it over many different waxes, sealants, and coatings with no problems.

Regulars here know that I'm a big fan of FK425 (and FK146 too for that matter).  BUT....

I had an absolute *disaster* when I applied FK425 over relatively fresh 476s- apparently a solvent-action type of thing, caused really awful pseudo-holograms that absolutely wouldn't buff away.  It would be pretty hard to exaggerate how bad it was, right at the end of a detail with the owner expecting the car in short order (my '93 Audi when it was still with its original owner).  Got there very late as I had to redo the areas in question (thankfully I didn't do the whole car before I noticed).  Since then I've quit using it on waxes...no biggie IMO as there are lots of good leaves-stuff-behind QDs these days, but it does mean one more product on the shelf if that's a concern for somebody.

Thanks guys!!!  Seems like I'll be OK since I rarely use a QD as a QD--most of the time will use it as a drying aid on sealants--only wax would be in POXY.

Fallguy- I haven't tried FK425 on the 845 for fear it might mess it up the way it messed up the 476S.  It was *that* kind of "mess up", where I will never risk a repeat.

pwaug- I'd be surprised if it messed up the Poxy, but then I was astounded that it messed up the 476S!
