FK 215 or 2180? Can someone help? :)

Sorry for the additional post, but I am a bit confused about fk 215 and 2180. Which is the preferred one to use under 1000p? What are the TRUE differences between them? What are you experiences/preferences? The car will be completely polished before either 2180 or 215 and then 1000p applied.



Also, any suggested wait time before applying 1000p over either one?

2180 won't last if you just slap on 1-2 layers. 215+1000P is a killer combo, but 2180 has a very high definition look which is worth to throw into the combo. After a nice polish routine with the 215 (polishing/finishing/finessing pads as you need), start to choke the paint with 2180. Add layers after layers (roughly min. 1 hour between them, the more the better) and watch them disappear into the paint. You should reach the saturation point of the paint and 2180 will start to behave like any ordinary liquid LSP. As it develops a haze and doesn't blend into the finish, you are arrived. Cover/garage the car (2180 is very sensitive even to morning dew), wait 1-2 days, top with the first layer of 1000P, then again after a day later the 2nd layer of 1000P. Done.

Yep, that will work but I'm pretty sure you will be removing the protection left behind by 215.
