Need more info: do you mean one coat/application of each?

IME FK1000P usually layers OK, but 476S...well, that gets to be tricky and IMO is technique-dependent.

IME if you mean "one coat of each" then 476S wins.

But note that I just switched the Yukon from 476S to FK1000P, and on that vehicle my only concern is long-lasting protection.

Matt, to be honest, they'll both offer what I'd describe as "extended" protection. You can't go wrong with either. However, I'm going to have to give the nod to the FK product in terms of appearance.

Hi Accumulator

When I posted the poll I was thinking of one coat.

What prompted you to switch from 476S to FK100P?

I have experience with both lasting through a Northeastern winter, from October through April. Confidently recommend both. 1000P is a little easier to work with IME, and I like the look vs. 476S, but my BIL just put two coats of 476S on his red Element and it looks great.

Then I'd probably go with the 476S.

Besides they way SuperBee364 raves about FK1000P's dirt-shedding during the wash, I was sick of the pseudo-holograms that 476S can give when I attempt to layer it; they're really bad on that particular paint for some reason and a YukonXL is too big to mess around with such irritations.

Spot on, I would go with 1000P with 2-3 applications, but for 1 layer I choose 476.

Don't get me wrong, I love 476S, but 1000P really does give up the dirt easier during the wash.

Another +1 to this.
