Fk-1 is it worth the cost

Do any of you guys use FK-1 products? They seem to be high in the cost dept but is it worth the extra jack.

They have a qd anti static product is it good or as good as others?:inspector:
 
PM replied to, but I will say out in the open that i think it is top notch stuff (at least the QD). I don't know that it is my favorite (at the moment) but it is good stuff.
 
I agree that everything that I have used by them has been a cut above most..there anti static line works well...I have there AS QD here and love it...Pink hand glaze was good, but found PB BH to be just as good and cheaper..I've not used a lot of there line but its all been good
 
I like the FK 425 due to the slickness. In fact I have 2 gallons just sitting on the shelf!!!

I agree with Beemer about the pink--I find PB BH is just as good if not better.

my order 4-16 and should
be here 4-23.....seems a little
slow on shipping from AZ to NY
but shipping was only $5.00:eek:
 
I purchased a gallon of the 425 based on nearly unanimous feedback/reviews from everyone. I'm happy with it, but not overwhelmed. I almost always go for the PB S&W for cleaning, and lately to the DP Final Gloss from Autogeek if the car's already clean and I want a little pop.

FK is in Pasadena, Cali. 16-23rd is 5 business days. Normal for coast to coast. The processing was slow though.

High? I think their products are very reasonable.

FK425 - one of the best QDs made. The one I reach for the most, and I have a lot of them. The anti-static properties do work. It doesn't repel dust, but lowers the accumulation of it. I have tested this multiple times. Looks great and is very slick.

FK108 - another great product for trim and such.

FK1000P - great product that gets a lot of praise on a lot of boards. Very durable and easy to work with. It can also be layered quickly which is a plus. It lowers the accumulation of dust also. I did half of my hood with it and the other half with a very slick sealant during pollen season, and there was a line right down the middle of the hood. It was a substantial difference that even non-detailers noticed. It looks very good too.

When you order, you can request a sample of another product, or you can just buy their sampler kit.
 
I agree with Eric....425 is one of my fav qds. Out of all the QD's I have I find myself reaching for 425 the most.
 
I bought there sample kit was the best way to decide if you like there products .Well worth the cost,I bought the Fk425 to use on my vette and very happy with it
