Fixing scuffed clear coat on a wheel

My factory wheels have a machined finish with a clear coat overtop (I assume clear powder coat). A very light encounter with a curb has left the clear scraped pretty good, but no damage to the alloy below. Any ideas of a fix, or is it simply time to get it refinished?

If it's completely through the clear to the base you can't do much, as removing a scratch requires leveling out the clear coat. If you tried to level that out you'd end up with a bigger mess. Any pics?

Not yet. Just getting the today. The previous owner made an attempt to fix, but gave up. Its a pretty deep clear coat. If its not through completely, how could I fill the void?
