I am considering a fixed location for a detailing business and wondered approximately what the average square footage was for those who have a fixed setup. Also, how did you got about finding your location? Was it a lot of drving around or did you utilize a website of some sort? Thanks.

The best way I found was to drive around in the areas I wanted to be in and look for open spots. Then you start making phone calls. And sometimes you will find out about other locations you from the person on the phone. The problem I had was finding a spot that would allow me to do the things I want to do. Don't give up. Look in the paper, search online and drive around. You never know where or how you will find a good location.
