First Ultima Detail on my 87 BMW 325is (Red)

The car has been sitting in the garage for about a month now, it's usually my daily driver but I started the full detail and then got lazy and stopped doing it. I finally finished it today since I had my OEM wheels arrive this week. The car has been neglected for about a year now so it was due time for a detail especially since summer will be over soon and it'll be ready for the winter. My main focus was exterior only. I only purchased UPGP & UTTGP. I didn't buy the UPPP, but I might give it a shot next time after hearing all the news about it.

Process:

Paint

CG Citrus Gloss wash

ONR lube with fine clay

50/50 106ff/HTEC @ 1700

UDM UPGP

Tires & Trims

3 Coats of UTTGP on tire

1 Coat of UTTGP on trim

The front grills and lower valance was never treated so ignore that. Here are the pics, no sun pictures so I'll have to take some for ya next time.

Final verdict:

Really love how hte UTTGP applies on and how smooth it feels. Much better than OS, anyone want to buy my OS? :) Barely used. The appearance is very wet to me and the paint is slick which is to my liking. The real test now is to see how it'll hold up for the rest of our harsh winter up in the Pacific Northwest. The UTTGP is really nice as well, but I have a hard time applying it sparingly to tires though, those suckers just eats it right up. It does look real nice and if you touch it doesn't leave your hands a film of goo or anything, it doesn't even stick to your hand, feels like it was sealed into the tires! Only time will tell as well on how I like this product and how it holds up. I know for a fact I'll have a handful of detailing goodies that I'll be posting up this week for sale.

Any questions ask away :)

I must say, I am not a fan of sealants but this UPGP is looking better and better every time I see pictures of it. I think its the most carnauba like sealant I have ever seen.

Yes thats why I just bought the rest of the line .This stuff is amazing.:) :) :)

In your opinion (slickness aside), have you ever used a sealant or wax that looked better on your car than the Ultima PGP?

I don't think I have used anything in the past 7years of my detailing life that I've seen anything this wet other than OPS, but it's been so long since I've used it I'll have to say Ultima PGP wins over OPS still.

To add I have not felt anything as slick either and washing it the water just sheets off like nothing else I have used .Car is left almost totally dry.The stuff is amazing.David out did himself with this product .If the rest of the line works aswell .I can't wait to get them in.
