Hello All,
Well, I finally use the PC 7336sp. I used it with the yellow pad and DACP on a neglected 1996 Buick Regal. It had burgundy paint and had never been polished or waxed.
PC/Yellow LC Pad/DACP worked GREAT.
First, I drizzled the DACP onto the yellow pad that was just misted with QS. Used a little extra to get that initial "load up" of the pad. I worked half of the trunk lid and used GeekySteve's method of going left to right, up and down, diagonal right, diagonal left at speed 4, then repeating at speed 5, then 6. Took me 3-4 minutes per section.
The difference was NIGHT and DAY and i'm not exaggerating!!
95% of the swirls were gone and a LOT of the small scratches were nearly diminished into nothing unless you look VERY hard for them.
I used light pressure at speed 4 and more and more pressure as the speed increased and knowing the abrasives were diminishing. The result was deep, shiny and glossy.
I followed up with SFP and LC white pad to add that fine smoothness and more depth. I did VM and CMW by hand and the results were amazing. Everything was buffed off manually with a microfiber.
The results from the PC are much higher in quality than what I was able to do by hand and by hand was impressing me. I am blown away at the results.
Erik
p.s. I had to change the yellow pad once about halfway through the car because it loaded up too much with DACP and started to splatter. This didn't seem to happen at all with the lighter SFP on a white pad though.
